Overview:
Due to continued expansion Maneely & Co Ltd are hiring for the position of Accounts Technician/Bookkeeper.
This exciting role will involve running the Finance Department of the business encompassing processing rents, invoicing & payments and managing the internal finances of the business, among other duties.

Duties:-
- Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices and making payments.
- Process rents received from tenants and payments to landlords & tradesmen.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
- Utilise accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to perform daily tasks.
Skills:-
- Experience as an Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, Overview:)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
£26,000-£32,000 per annum

Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
